Brulee Health and Safety Update: COVID-19 Virus
From the moment we opened our doors to serve Miami and Ft. Lauderdale more than ten years ago, we have been dedicated to serving our clients with refined and elegant meals prepared with the freshest ingredients, and served in the venue of your choice. We remain dedicated to those goals today, as we monitor the coronavirus outbreak and take the necessary steps to ensure our clients and staff are protected from COVID-19.
From additional kitchen and delivery precautions to the availability of no-contact drop off, we’re as serious about your safety as we are about our catering.
COVID-19 Virus Update
In response to this rapidly changing public health challenge, we have strengthened our procedures for maintaining the safety and security of Brulee Food Services menu items, from our kitchen to your venue. Our kitchen staff is working under enhanced sanitation measures that include increased hand-washing and appropriate social distancing at all times, and our delivery team has been provided with disposable gloves and hand sanitizer.
COVID-19 Virus Safety
We continue to closely watch unfolding developments related to COVID-19 virus safety in our area. At this time, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), there have been no reported occurrences of food or food packaging being a vector for coronavirus transmission; however, we are highly engaged and monitoring the situation closely, ready to make the necessary changes upon immediate notification to further safeguard all food preparation and delivery services.
As part of our commitment to you, our clients, we also demonstrate a commitment to the health and welfare of our kitchen and delivery teams. We have established procedures that require kitchen or delivery team members to stay home if diagnosed with or exposed to COVID-19 and forced to self-quarantine.
Join us in practicing effective COVID-19 prevention measures at home, at work and in the South Florida community. Wash your hands, with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, often. Cough and sneeze into your elbow or into a tissue that’s immediately disposed of in a trash receptacle. If you feel sick, especially with a fever or dry cough, stay home. Practice effective social distancing by avoiding crowds of ten or more people to help stop the COVID-19 virus outbreak.
We are deeply grateful for your on-going support as we work hard to provide you with safe, nutritious and elegant meals. We are committed to keeping you informed as we revisit and revise our protocols in light of the frequent changing federal, state and local instructions, and we look forward to continuing to serve our clients in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and throughout South Florida for many years to come.
Sincerely,
Shanti G. Alvarez
